CalloniFIL is the Italian company, based in Arconate - Milan, part of the CALLONI GROUP, which since 1930 produces and sells synthetic and natural yarns for any use and application sector. The core business is flat raffia, fibrillated raffia and twisted raffia produced following innovative manufacturing processes.

Production versatility

Thanks to the multiple extrusion plants, there is the possibility of being very versatile in terms of change of production, volumes, types of yarn and treated materials. This guarantees rapid order management with fast and reliable deliveries.

Processing

Extrusion

Raw material blended with additives in customer-specific formulas: flat or fibrillated raffia. Mono-directional molecular orientation for very high tensile strength. PP, PE, bioplastic.

Twisting

The twisting process produces a stronger yarn than flat raffia: ideal where traction is essential. From 30 to 150 twists/metre, S or Z twist customisable on customer request.

Winding

Winding service: replacement of the Jumbo bobbin with more manageable and less bulky bobbins. Tube, metres, diameter, stroke and crossings customisable to optimise customer production.
