Through the fusion of polypropylene, it is possible to obtain a yarn with a soft hand. The polypropylene raffia can be flat, fibrillated, twisted and spolled. For this reason it is very versatile and lends itself to very wide uses depending on the treatments performed.
The production process developed by CalloniFIL allows obtaining very high tensile strength. The toughness, or the ratio between the breaking load and the size of the yarn, can reach peaks of 7 g / Td, or a resistance of over 5 kg for a 3.5 mm wide strip.
