As for the polypropylene raffia, CalloniFIL has also developed an extrusion process that allows obtaining very high tensile strength in the production of polyethylene raffia. The toughness, or the ratio between the breaking load and the size of the yarn, can reach peaks of 6 g / Td, or a resistance of over 4.5 kg for a 3.5 mm wide strip.
